roz's shoe challenge

I have to wear every shoe in my closet, without repeat. Normally one shoe a day, sometimes more.

I decided to do the challenge as it highlights the strengths and weaknesses in my collection. It also forces me to be more creative with my looks, particularly towards the end of the challenge and I have fewer to choose from.

I have 180 shoes. The pictures I post are from websites like Netaporter, I do not post real pics of the shoes as they have been stolen before and used on eBay to sell fakes. Sorry.
Day 81, shoe 96: Brian Atwood Maniac 140 in brown patent I’m kinda sad I’ve worn all my Maniacs now as this is my last pair (after my black, nude and green pairs) until the shoe challenge ends. They’re kinda a go-to pair of shoes, which I think accounts for why I’ve worn all four pairs already. If I’m ever in doubt about what to wear heel-wise, I reach for these. Like my black pair, these were bought on sale from Matches.

Day 80, shoe 95: Charlotte Olympia Marina in leopard As I have probably said several times before, I’m really fussy with flats, but these are just adorable, both in terms of style and print. I got them on sale from Charlotte’s website, and they have instantly become one of my favourite pairs of ‘statement flats’ (if there is such a thing…)

Day 79, shoe 94: Christian Louboutin Bicho 140 Bought from Mount Street, these are such fun shoes to pair with earthy, neutral looks. The stripes are gorgeous, and actually pretty unique to my closet.

Day 78, shoe 93: Christian Louboutin Maggie 140 in tobacco and black Louboutin have done the Maggie in a lot of different colours, styles and even heights, but these have always been my favourite, although the blue and pumice is probably just as classic. Day 77, shoe 92: Lanvin Leda in snakeskin These were absolute must-buys. I would have gone to ridiculous lengths to snag a pair of these, but fortunately they were in my size on Netaporter so it was relatively painless. I seem to remember they sold out pretty quickly, but it’s easy to see why. These are great shoes to wear with a casual look and they command people’s attention like few other summer shoes can.

Day 76, shoe 91: Jimmy Choo Mercury sandals Jimmy Choo are so good for shoes like this - simple, elegant sandals with a little bit of sparkle. Many designers are one extreme or the other, whether classical pumps or out-and-out show-stoppers, but Jimmy Choo is wonderful at bridging this gap. These are beautiful, and I got on sale from Mytheresa at the end of last season.

Jimmy Choo are so good for shoes like this - simple, elegant sandals with a little bit of sparkle. Day 75, shoe 90: Sergio Rossi Montreal in tan leather Sergio Rossi’s iconic style, of which I have a few. These I got for 66% off at Rue La La. It’s rare to find such a classic style for such great value.

Day 74, shoe 89: Christian Louboutin Lady Claude 120 in leopard suede I love Louboutin’s leopard print, some leopard can often be too cartoony which suits some styles (Charlotte Olympia, for example), but not Louboutin. These are lovely little shoes, the red toe is such a lovely touch. These were bought on sale from Matches.

I love Louboutin’s leopard print, some leopard can often be too cartoony which suits some styles (Charlotte Olympia, for example), but not Louboutin. These are lovely little shoes, the red toe is such a lovely touch. These were bought on sale from Matches.

Like all of the shoes by her that I have, these are so comfortable, and I got these on sale from Flannels Fashion.

Day 72, shoe 87: Yves Saint Laurent Gaby boots in black suede Love the simplicity of these, and they’re a lot more comfortable than the Louboutin equivalent. These look great with jeans, miniskirts and were bought at retail from Matches. They’ve more than paid for themselves.
